Weekly Newsletter #69: 2 Weeks To Go!

2 Weeks To Go!

Hey BYP Network,

I hope you're having a great week. We can't quite believe it but there's only TWO WEEKS until our event of the year. In fourteen days, we'll be hosting over 800 of you at Leonardo Royal Hotel to talk all things black leadership.

This week, we're training up our conference volunteers who will helping out on the day and interacting with you all!

Our Senior Leadership Conference is on the horizon and we hope you'll take home lots of insights and great advice on the day. Kicking off from 9am, we'll have AJ Odudu hosting and keynote talks from the likes of Mike Sherman (Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, BT), Catherine Wallwork (Head of Innovation Engagement & Mindset, Deloitte) and Selina Morgan-Gayle (Founder & Mediator at SMG Mediation Ltd). Whether you're seeking advice on developing a growth mindset, practising mindfulness or having a voice, there's something for you.

As the afternoon begins, we'll have the likes of Andrew Fairbairn (Founder & CEO of SEO London) and Kenny Imafidon (Co-founder & Managing Director of Clearview Research Ltd) talking reimagining the future with Black leadership, whilst the likes of David Villa Clarke (CEO of Aleto Foundation) and Dominic Carter (COO of News UK) will be talking what it's like to manage an all white team. Want practical advice? We'll have Suki Fuller (Founder of Miribure) and Heather Alleyne (Associate Partner at EY) discussing entrepreneurial mindsets, as well as Bola Sol giving you the lowdown on financial literacy.

It's not just about our speakers too. We'll be welcoming influencers and special guests such as Chelsea Kwakye (Author of Taking Up Space), Jessie Aru Phillips (BBC Sounds' Sista Collective) and Mariam Bashorun (Founder of Black British Bloggers) and many more people who we feel have made a difference to our community and built equally brilliant networks.

Keep your eyes peeled for our keynote speaker - an email will be coming your way a week before the conference! We've been keeping this news a secret for some time so we're ecstatic to share this with you!

See you at our conference!
